Who we are
ARCHR helps organizations turn data into decisions they can defend. We work across industries, including insurance, healthcare and life sciences, retail and consumer, manufacturing, energy and mining, the public sector and not-for-profits, and professional services and technology. The rigor that regulated industries demand shapes how we work everywhere. See our industries.
Our typical contacts are chief information officers, chief data officers, chief operating officers, and heads of compliance and technology. The firm was founded by George Nassar, Founder of ARCHR, who leads the firm and its client relationships.
Our six services cover strategy and design, data modernization, cloud, analytics and reporting, AI and machine learning, and governance, security and privacy. They connect, so an engagement can begin with one and add others as priorities become clear.
Independent and vendor-honest
We deliver on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, and we design each solution around your existing stack, skills, contracts and budget instead of a fixed toolset. We recommend what suits the problem, including data platforms, orchestration, business intelligence and AI services you already own, and we explain the trade-offs so that the decision stays yours.
Where we name technologies on this site, they are examples of tools we commonly work with. Naming a technology is not an endorsement, and it does not imply any partnership, certification or reseller relationship.
How we staff and run engagements
- Senior-led work: the people who scope an engagement take part in delivering it.
- Small teams, sized to the problem rather than to a staffing model.
- Your team involved from the first session, so that decisions on scope, controls and ownership are shared.
- Documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer throughout, so you can run what we build.
- Clear review points after each step, where you can pause, adjust or stop.
What we do not do
We want expectations to be clear. We do not promise specific outcomes, because results depend on your data, systems and decisions. We do not publish client names or results on this site, and the case studies are illustrative scenarios rather than client work. We do not claim certifications or vendor partnerships. We do not provide legal, financial, investment or medical advice, and we do not certify that a system complies with a regulation. We do not build systems that take consequential decisions about people without qualified human review.
Principles
How we try to work
Excellence
We favor careful engineering and clear documentation over speed for its own sake, and we test our work against criteria agreed with you.
Partnership
We work alongside your teams, share what we learn, and aim to leave you able to run what we build.
Innovation
We use new techniques where they fit the problem, and say so plainly when a simpler approach is the better choice.
Impact
We define how success will be measured before building, so the work is judged against outcomes that matter to your business.
How we work and what compliance-first means
Our four-step method moves from discovery and strategy to a focused pilot, then to build and scale, and finally to ongoing optimization. See the full method.
In regulated and data-intensive industries, a solution that works but cannot be explained is a risk. We therefore plan for ownership, access control, logging, documentation and human review from the first design session. Privacy law (for example the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in Canada, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and state privacy laws in the United States) and sector regulators, from securities and prudential supervisors in financial services to health and insurance authorities, are treated as context for these choices, in whichever jurisdictions you operate. We use frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001 and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) AI Risk Management Framework as references. We do not provide legal advice or certify compliance. That judgment stays with your own compliance and legal advisers.
